Your Privacy Choices
Last updated: May 24, 2026
U.S. state privacy laws give you specific rights over the personal information ParkCharter collects about you. This page is the central place to exercise those rights. As of 2026, the rights described below apply if you are a resident of any of the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia. We extend these rights to all users regardless of state of residence as a matter of policy.
We do not sell or share your personal information
ParkCharter does not sell your personal information for money and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have never done so. The categories of personal information we collect, and the service providers we use to deliver the service (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, Stripe, Resend, Sentry, Google OAuth, Themeparks.wiki, Firecrawl), are listed in our Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Right to know. You can request the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business purposes for which it is used, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared. The Privacy Policy already documents this for all users.
Right to access (data portability). You can download a complete machine-readable copy of your account data — trips, group profiles, chat history, subscriptions, reservations, and account metadata — directly from Settings → Download my data. The export is delivered as a JSON file.
Right to delete. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — trips, group profiles, chat history, subscriptions, reservations, and your authentication record — from Settings → Delete my account. This action is irreversible. The Stripe customer record (if any) is held by Stripe, not by ParkCharter; cancel and request deletion through Stripe’s own data-request channels.
Right to correct. Email address can be changed from Settings. For corrections to any other field, email support@parkcharter.app and we will update or reply within 45 days as required by state law.
Right to opt-out of sale or sharing. ParkCharter does not sell or share. There is no opt-out action required of you. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing should we ever change that practice in the future.
Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. ParkCharter does not process sensitive personal information (as defined by CPRA) for any purpose other than the limited operational purposes required to deliver the service.
Right to non-discrimination. ParkCharter will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
Global Privacy Control
ParkCharter recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by some browsers and browser extensions as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing under California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other state laws that recognize universal opt-out mechanisms. We detect the Sec-GPC: 1 request header server-side. The banner at the top of this page tells you whether we currently see your GPC signal.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf under California, Colorado, and other state laws that permit agent requests. Email support@parkcharter.app with proof of the agent’s authority (signed permission, power of attorney, or equivalent) and proof of your identity. We will verify and respond within statutory deadlines.
Appeals
If we deny your request to exercise any right above and you reside in a state that requires an appeals process (Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and others), you may appeal by replying to our denial email or writing to support@parkcharter.app with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. We will respond within 60 days. Some state laws also allow you to file a complaint with the state attorney general; we will provide that contact information in any appeal denial.
